It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Caroline Brown (Carrie) announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 at the age of 85 years. She will be sadly missed by her son Derek (Barbara) in George’s Lake, four daughters: Vera Brown (special friend Alvin), Carolyn, Dianne (Jeff) Rosko, all of Stephenville, Daisy (Carl) of Hamilton, Ontario, one sister Blanche Parrott in Shoal Harbour, daughter-in-law Audrey, special granddaughter Nancy and grandchildren: Tracey, Andrew, Carrie, David, Gerard, Gary, James, Steven, Christopher, Leslie, along with 13 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred, her sons Maxwell, Clayton and grandson Barry John Brown. Visitation will take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive in Stephenville. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 22nd, 2008 at 2 p.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Hillview Avenue with interment in Hillside Interfaith cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
