The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, April 5, 2010 of Norma (Lawless) McIver of Summerside and formerly of Kinkora, age 77 years.
Wife of the late Arnold McIver.
Born in Norboro on June 11, 1932, Norma was a daughter of the late James Lawless and Hazel (Callaghan) Lawless.
Survived by daughters, Ann Meek of Summerside; Sharon (Glen) MacLeod of Uigg; a sister, Meriam (late Jim) Morris, Charlottetown; a brother, Frank (Celia) Lawless, Peterborough, Ont.; and a sister-in-law, Marina (late Lloyd) Lawless, Summerside. Also survived by a stepmother, Beryl Lawless, of Summerside; a brother-in-law, Ronald (Dorothy) McIver; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister, Sheila, in infancy.
Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, 21 Somerset St., Kinkora. Funeral Thursday, April 8, at St. Malachy's Church, Kinkora, with funeral mass at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday, April 7, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment later in the parish cemetery.
CWL members will say prayers at the funeral home Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
