We regret to announce the passing of Mary Theresa Brake, at the age of 77, on April 6, 2010. Predeceased by her loving husband, Walter E. Brake, on June 22, 2002. Predeceased by son-in-law, Russell Tucker; grandchildren: Mellissa Amy Brake and Shawn Tucker. Leaving to mourn: one sister, Josephine Watson (Gerald) of Bell Island, NL; four sons: Walter of Halifax, NS, Rod (Cindy) and Gerald (Donna) of Corner Brook, Kim of Barrie, Ontario; two daughters: Kierin (John) of St. John's, Dale Tucker of Barrie, Ontario; a very special friend, Christina Keough; also grandchildren: Jennifer Brake, Walter Tucker, Warren Tucker, Mark, Ann Marie, Christina Mercer; a large circle of nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9th at 10:00 a.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street. Reverend Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Church, Clarence Street.
