Beatrice C. McGee (Nee Calnek) born February 6, 1927 in Saint John, N.B. She was an R.N. graduate from the Montreal Gen. Hospital. Had a short career in nursing at various hospitals. Became head-nurse at Lancaster, N.B. (Veteran's Hospital), where she met and later married her husband Herbert. Spent half of her life in Quebec and Ontario cities and arriving in Kelowna, B.C. in mid 1987. Betty enjoyed golf, curling and duplicate bridge. Betty is survived by her husband Herbert and daughter Beverley Mayer (Oshawa, ON).
