Survived by her husband William B. Burns, two daughters Phyllis Marie Burns of St. Stephen, Ruthy Elizabeth Deleavey (Derle) of Fredericton, NB. One son Allen William Burns of Woodstock, NB. Five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters Barb Burton (Harold) of Mahone Bay, NS, Marie McCarty of St. Stephen, NB. Two brothers Rev Don McCarty (Betty) of Zealand, NB. James McCarty (Carol) of Oakville, ON. Sister-in-law Helen Richards (Ernest) of St. Stephen, NB. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her father, mother, step-mother Corrine, two brothers Lloyd and Milford McCarty
Resting at the S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd. 23 Main St. St. Stephen, NB, from where funeral service will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at 2 PM with Rev. Don McCarty, Pastor Gord Walsh and Pastor Weldon Laking officiating. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 7 to 9 PM and Thursday, April 15, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Interment at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, St. Stephen, NB.
