SKAAR, Phyllis Irene - March 17, 1923 ~ April 13, 2010. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, great grandmother and friend. Phyllis Skaar passed away with family and care-giver/friend Pat Chuey by her side at her home, The Good Shepard Villa in Prince Albert on April 13, 2010. Left forever missing her are here three daughters and their husbands; Melody (Royden) MacMahon and their daughter Jenna all of Calgary, AB; Pamela (Frank) Hayes of Prince Albert and their children, Jennifer (Gary) Olson and children Hanna, Noah and Meredith of Cold Lake, AB; Dana (Todd) Morling of Lethbridge, AB and Ainsley Hayes of Regina, SK; Patti (Bruce) Ozmun and daughters Kali and Krista, and their children Jayden and Tessa, all of Prince Albert, SK. Also, her only sibling, brother Arthur Hagen of St. Albert, AB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Les Skaar; parents Ole and Julia Hagen of Birch Hills, SK and her in-laws Martin and Annie Skaar of Glenside, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Birch Hills Lutheran Church, 420 Bellamy Ave, Birch Hills, SK, with Rev. Sonje Finnestad officiating.
