Formerly from Tignish, P.E.I., and most recently Cornwall, P.E.I., passed away in peace and with dignity in Mississauga with family at her side on Monday, April 19th, 2010, in her 78th year, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Everett McKenna and daughter, Paula McKenna.
Cherished mother to Neil (Judy) McKenna, Dennis (Diana) McKenna, Lana (Bruce) Weber and Shelley McKenna. Loving grandmother to Kirsty and Travis McKenna, Kyle, Conner and Caitlin McKenna, Jessi, Tamara, Carson, and Pearce Weber and Denver McKenna-Holm.
Her strength and enthusiasm for life will never be forgotten.
Visitation April 21st and funeral service on April 22nd at Turner & Porter Funeral Home in Mississauga, ON.
A memorial service will take place in Prince Edward Island at a later date.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Research Society.
