1928 - 2010 - Sidney Bird formerly of Riverview passed away at The Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin on Wednesday, April 21st, 2010. Born October 26th, 1928 he was the son of the late Russell and Annie (Hunsley) Bird. Sidney retired from Canadian Liquid Air, Moncton. He is survived by his wife Eleanor of Moncton, six children, five grandchildren, sisters Phyllis Perry (Hubert) of Amherst, Francis McDonald of Mapleton, NS and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Hubert.
In keeping with Sidney's wishes, a private family service will be held. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Interment will take place at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
