Ernest Alfred Foster of Coldstream passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born December 11, 1928 and was the son of the late Alfred and Laura (Clark) Foster. He was also predeceased by his in-laws, Basil and Dora Trecartin; sister, Wanda McIntosh; brother, Otis Foster; sister-in-law, Kathleen Lockard; brother-in-law, John McIntosh. Ernest is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce (Trecartin) Foster of Coldstream; son, Jœy Foster of Coldstream; sisters, Gretchen (Robert) Innes, Newburg, Hattie McIntosh, Woodstock; sister-in-law, Lynn Foster, Fredericton; brother-in-law, Donald McIntosh, Grafton, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ruth Sawler officiating.
