Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Friday April 23, 2010 aged 75 years, Edward Patrick Meade of Freshwater, P. Bay. Predeceased by parents Robert and Lucy Meade, sisters Lena, Mary, Hannah and Thomasine, and in-laws William and Mary Griffiths. Leaving to remember and celebrate his life, his loving wife Philomena (Griffiths), sons Ned (Darlene), Wayne (Marg), Robert (Daisy); daughters Marylou (Francis), Shelia (Rick), Wanda (Dave) and special grandchildren Ryan, Noah, John, Grace, Matthew and Claire. Also leaving to mourn sisters Monnie, Lucy, Carmel (Dave), and Bernadette (Wayne); brothers Jack (Patricia), Adrian (Sylvia), Gordon (Rose Marie), Eddy, and Bob (Jane) and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Sunday April 25, 2010 and Monday April 26, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater followed by interment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
