Marlene Ellen (Urquhart) Parsons, 60, Centreville, passed away peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of Marney (MacLeod) Urquhart and the late William 'Billy' Urquhart. Throughout her life, she was a lover of music, travel, the outdoors and an avid amateur painter.
Besides her mother, Marlene is survived by her loving husband, John; daughter, Heather (Margot); sister, Laurie (Sheldon) Hewey and brother Jamie (Loraine) Urquhart.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the West Bay United Church, West Bay, Cape Breton.
