Helen Duzan (nee Dunham) was born on May 11th, 1935 in Waldeck, SK. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 3rd, 2010. Helen married her loving husband Cecil on December 28th, 1951. They resided in Ormiston for 56 years until they moved to Moose Jaw in 2007. They spent their time raising a large family. Helen enjoyed every moment of life, her family, her friends, and her community. She loved baking, curling, camping, auction sales and much more. She is predeceased by her parents John and Mabel Dunham, her brother Randy Dunham and her sister Ruth Drake. She will be missed by her husband Cecil, children Karen Poshtar (Peter), Janet Ludwar (Greg), Candace Duzan, Randy Duzan, Jerry Duzan (Laura), 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Marion Mann, Margaret Anderson, Sandra Freisen and her brother Arnold Dunham. A celebration of Helen's life will be held in Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at 1:30pm. Pastor Bill Luther will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date at the Ormiston Cemetery. For those so wishing, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK. S6H 2M2.
