SUNNY BRAE – Robert Wilfield Fraser, age 51 of Sunny Brae, Pictou County, passed away May 5, 2009, in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Fielding and Dorothy (Cameron) Fraser.
Robert had been a resident of Sunny Brae all of his life. He gathered with the Saints at Gospel Hall in New Glasgow. He was employed with the CNR for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy, Sunny Brae; daughters, Heather and Emily, both at home; brother, Scott, Sunny Brae; sisters, Carol (George) MacDonald, Westville; Marlene Fraser, New Glasgow; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, that he cared about dearly.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Fowler and Bruce Barkhouse officiating.
Burial will be in Sunny Brae Cemetery. Family flowers only.
