RIVERTON – Douglas Kenneth Wayne Campbell, age 65, of Riverview Home, Riverton, and formerly of James St., New Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, surrounded by his sister, Brenda and family from Summer Street Industries and Riverview Home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Albert and Dorothy (Wallace) Campbell.
He was a resident of Riverview Home for the past 21 years. He was an employee of Summer Street Industries. He attended the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda (Harold) Busby, New Glasgow; nieces, Rebecca Murray; Wendy (David) MacIntosh; grandnieces: Christina, Sharon and Savanna; extended family at Riverview Home and Summer Street Industries.
He was predeceased by brother, Raymond.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 3 p.m. Friday in Salvation Army Citadel, Westville, with Capt. Jim Sinclair officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Reception to follow in Summer Street Industries.
