Anne J. Light , 93 years of age, of Barrie ON, formerly of River Hebert, NS, passed away on Sunday, May, 9, 2010 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
Born in Montreal, PQ, she was a daughter of the late Basil & Mary Kewachuk.She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gibbins (Tom) of Fenelon Falls, ON; son Don (Cheryl) of Ridgeway, ON; sisters Jean (Gino) of Welland, ON and Mary Goodrick of Seattle, WA; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Thomas, sons Tom and Bob, great grandson Matthew, sisters Kathleen Saxton, and Sophie Petroney and brother John.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St. Amherst, NS, (902-667-8777) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11 am with Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, River Hebert East.
