The death occurred peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at the Souris Hospital of Myrtle Dixon (nee Rose) in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Dixon. Loving mother of Donna Dixon (Neil Munro). Survived by sisters, Marina (Roland) Bushey, Mavis (Elwood) Ching, Jessie Dixon, Anita Baker; brothers, Herbert (Shirley), Robert (Elsie), Alvin (Joan), Huntley (Thelma), Waldon (Bertie); and sister-in-law, Edna. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother, Lyman; and sister, Rita; brothers-in-law, Harry Dixon, Lyman Baker and Roland Johnston. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours Saturday, May 9, 2009, 5-8 p.m. Funeral to be held on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at the Kingsboro Baptist Church for funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Kingsboro Cemetery.
