1916-2010 - The death of Eugene Corcoran of Bath occurred at the River View Manor on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Born on September 5, 1916 in Holmesville he was the son of the late John and Kate (Doherty) Corcoran and husband of the late Rose (Watt) Corcoran. In his early years, Eugene operated a potato farm in Holmesville. Later he worked for the Department of Transportation. Eugene is survived by his three children, Bette (Jim) Ferjo, Jim (Kathleen) Corcoran and Louis Corcoran; three grandchildren, Lisa, Mike and Jeff; eight great grandchildren, Dryden, Hannah, Danielle, Ethan, Annika, Klara, Thomas and William. Eugene was the last member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Rose, four brothers, Francis, Louis, Joe and Gus, three sisters, Marguerite, Lillian and Kathleen.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 am from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bath. Rev. David Fulton as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery.
