The funeral service for Anne Heise of Brampton, Ont., was held April 7, 2009, from The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, Mississauga, Ont. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Gary Stagg. Psalm 23 was read by sister-in-law, Phyllis MacDonald. The eulogy was given by Wally Parson, son-in-law to Anne. The song, You Raise Me Up, by Josh Groban, was played at the beginning and end. Susan Carmichael, sister to Anne, sang the hymn, Amazing Grace.
The interment will take place Saturday, July 4, at 11 a.m. at the Brooklyn Cemetery, P.E.I. (In case of inclement weather, a memorial will take place at the Caledonia Presbyterian Church.)
