Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, May 7th, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. Therese was a mother whose sense of commitment to family bonds meant love, honor, strength and devotion. This strong woman of love and character now joins her late husband of 59 years John Frederick Thorne; sons Edwin and Robert and daughter Mary. Leaving to mourn sons: Ronnie, Greg, Sean (Heidi), Lennie (Clara), Freddie (Brenda) and Rickie; daughters: Michelle, Viki Duffenais (Tony), Rose Anne Walsh (Bob) and Sharon (Ken Pendergast); brothers-in-law: Gus and Leo Thorne; sister-in-law Jean Leonard; special mention of grandchildren; Jason, T.J., Sean (Little), Freddie, Meghan, Katie Rose, Charlie, Kristen, Danny, Bobby, Miki, Sean, Michelle, Nicole, Jennifer, Christopher and Mattie and many great-grandchildren. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, May 11th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church.
