1916-2010 - Miramichi - Pearle Anne Arsenault, widow of the late Eric Arsenault, of Ann Street, Miramichi, passed away at her residence, on Monday, May 24, 2010, at the age of 93. Born in Blissfield, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Moran) Bowes. She was a homemaker; a retired employee of the Newcastle Medical clinic and attended St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi; former member of the C.W.L. of St. Marys Roman Catholic Church and former member of the Miramichi marathon bridge club. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family. She is survived by five daughters, Margaret Kerr (John), Erica (Rickie) Pyne, all of Miramichi, Eva Arsenault (Al Heywood), of Winnipeg, Man., Dianne McGregor (Sandy), of Miramichi, Paulette Arsenault (Philippe Gauthier), of Montreal, Que.; one son, Danny Arsenault, of Montreal; two sisters, Molly Houlston (Max) and Irene Manderson, all of Miramichi; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews. she was predeceased by her husband, Eric, in 1983; four sisters, Nora Daigle, Helen Ronan, Leona Maroni, Ruby Manderson; three brothers, Frank, Jack and Peter Bowes; one son in law, Joseph Pyne.
Visitation will be at the residence of John and Margaret Kerr, 2460 Water Street, on Thursday evening only, from 6 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi, on Friday, May 28, 2010, at 11 am, conducted by Father Claude Daigle. Interment will be in St. Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery, Miramichi, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extra Mural Nursing Program, or a charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
