Blaikie, Charles Albert - 72, Bible Hill passed away May 23, 2010 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in River John, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Helen (MacKenzie) Blaikie. Charles was employed with several businesses including Wilson's Fuel, Truro Courthouse, Truro Daily News, The Residential Centre and with St. John's Anglican Church until his retirement. He is survived by his spouse, Dorothy Swan; daughters, Cheryl Blaikie, Julie (Terry) Whiteneck, Cindy (Chris) Shay, Cathy Blaikie, all of Truro; stepsons, Michael (Tanya) Swan, Bible Hill, Tim (Becky) Swan, Hilden; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson. No visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 1 at 2:00 pm in St. John's Anglican Church with Rev. Lori Ramsey officiating.
