Samuel (Sam) Antonio Pignatelli of Riverview passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 as the result of a motor vehicle accident at the age of 18. Born August 23, 1991 in Germany. He was a former student at Riverview High School, who loved to play hockey and lacrosse with a competitive edge, most recently Sam took a great interest in playing and recording his own music. Sam will forever be in the hearts of his loving parents Tony and Shula (Davey) Pignatelli, his sister, Lucia, brothers, Lonnie and Joseph, maternal grand-parents, Angela and Alan Davey, paternal grandmother, Margaret Pignatelli, maternal great grandmother, Prim Hobbs, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, with parish prayers and sharing of memories at 8:30 PM from the funeral home. The funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM, with Father Phil Mulligan officiating.
