Arnold Radcliffe Lovering passed away in Regina, Sask., Sept. 16, 2009, following a long struggle with cancer.
Born in Orillia, Ont. in November, 1933, Arn spent many years in the Royal Canadian Navy and truly loved his years in Nova Scotia.
Arn is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lexie MacLean (formerly of Grand Narrows); daughters, Juanita and Cynthia Wareham; and his precious grandaughter, Jazlyn.
A Memorial Mass will be held June 8, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Barra Church, Christmas Island, with Fr. Paul Abbass officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
