MERCER (NEE DROVER), BEATRICE - August 23, 1930-June 4, 2010. Aged 79 years. Passed peacefully away after a short battle with cancer at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island. Predeceased by husband William (Buck) Mercer. Three grandchildren: Randy and Robert Sarty, Lindsey Mercer. Leaving to mourn two sons: Walter (Barb) Mercer, Toronto, ON; Maurice (Verna) Mercer, Toronto, ON. Three daughters: Rosalind (Rosita) Mercer, Toronto, ON; Valerie (Andy) Harding,?St. John's, NL; Sandra Sarty (Nigel), Cornwall, ON; Dianne Mercer (Joe), Bell Island, NL. Eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters Lillian, Mary, Myrtle, Mildred, Vaughn, Doris and step-sister Sally (Dougal) Reid. Special sisters-in-law, Jean Pitts and Mildred Mercer. Brother-in-law Gerald Mercer. As well as a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass on Monday, June 7, at 2 p.m. at the United Church, Bell Island, with inurnment to follow at St. Boniface Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. Gather afterwards at St. Michael's Parish Hall, Bell Island.
