December 11, 1932 - June 3, 2010 - After a lengthy illness, Jay Allen of Edmonton (formally of Fredericton, NB) passed away with family at his side, at the age of 77 years. Jay will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diana of 32 years; children; Michael (Debra), Wendy (Joseph) Shelby, Edward, Marye Jo (Bill) Neales, Dara (Gordon) Sewell, Jennifer (Darcy) Hiebert; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother George (Anna); sister Carolyn Ann (Jack) Kethro; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Jay was predeceased by his son Kevin.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 am. In memory of Jay, donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
