Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 8th, 2010, Joan Musseau in her 66th year. Leaving behind with fond and loving memories is her beloved and devoted husband Roy; children: Randy (Janet), Patti (Scott) Penney and three precious grandchildren: Seneca, Samantha and Riley; her best friend and sister: Peg (Bill) Barry, Corner Brook; brothers: Melvin "Lew" (Helen) Smith, Summerside, Gerald "Jiggs" (June), Stephenville, David (Jean), George's Lake, Bruce (Pam), Mt. Pearl, Kenneth (Glenna), Goulds; sisters-in-law: Bev Smith, PEI, Mary Mercer, Corner Brook and Marie Lawlor, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents: Walter and Myrtle Smith; father and mother-in-law: Randell and Nora Musseau; brother: Donald Smith; brothers-in-law: Ronald and Charlie Musseau; nieces: Linda and Janice. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Home Chapel, with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or the ALS Society.
