The death of Hazel Frances Foss of Geary, NB occurred on June 11th, 2010 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born April 10th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace (Carr) Stevens and wife to Ivan Foss. Hazel is survived by her husband, Ivan; her children, Stacey Foss (Kelli) of Geary, NB, Mark Foss (Judy) of Geary, NB, Miles Foss (Pam) of Barrie, ON and John Stevens (Beatrice) of Geary, NB; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Muriel, Edna, Frances Avis and Joan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Fred, Raymond and Shirley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13th, 2010 at the Oromocto Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 14th, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Perry Edwards officiating. Interment will take place in the Preston Carr Cemetery.
