It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Neilan MacQueen, 66, while in hospital in Durham, Ont. on May 24, 2010.
Born in North Framboise on August 26, 1943, he was the son of Annabell (MacQueen) Campbell, Framboise Intervale.
Besides his mother, he is survived by sons, Kevin (Tina) and Steven (Jody); eight grandchildren, Sarah, Austin, Jared, Brooklynn, Dallas, Nicklas, Thomas and Grace, all of Ontario. A sister, Sarah Jane (Philip) MacLeod, Framboise Int.; brother, Joe Campbell, Hamilton, Ont. Former wife, Audrey MacQueen, Hamilton, Ont. Very special friends, Jamie, Tammy and Stori-lyn, Durham, Ont. and his pal, Chico (the cat). Serveral aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by twin brother, Lawrence and sister, Catherine.
In honouring Neilan's wishes there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Framboise. Ashes to be buried beside twin brother, Lawrence.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
