Dorothy (Fleming) Tkaczyk The passing occurred in Viking, Alberta on May 25, 2010 of Dorothy (Fleming) Tkaczyk at the age of 81 years.
Born in Lower Onslow, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Nettie Fleming. A graduate of the Highland View Hospital School of Nursing in Amherst, nursing was her life long career.
She is survived by seven children as well as brothers, Reg Fleming and Glen Fleming of Truro.
She was predeceased by daughter Dianne, brothers Ellis Fleming and Ira Fleming of Lower Onslow, Ernest Fleming of Halifax and sister Grace Johnson of Lower Onslow .
A memorial service was held on May 31st at Viking United Church where she was a valued member of the church choir for many years.
