1918 - 2010 - Phelicien "Phil" Doiron, 92, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, June 17th 2010, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Rosaireville, NB, he was the son of the late Georges and the late Marie (née: Chiasson) Doiron. Mr. Doiron had retired from Moncton Chrysler Dodge, prior to having a 25 year career as a barber. He had been a Town of Dieppe councillor from 1966 to 1970, member of the Ste.-Thérèse parish council in 1975, member of the Club d'Age d'Or of Dieppe and the Ste.-Thérèse parish. He is survived by four daughters: Nicole (Paul) Brun of Grand Barachois, Pierrette (Martin) Melanson of Dieppe, Jocelyne Doiron (Nicole Laubscher) of St.-Thomas and Charline (Charles) Gagnon of St.-Anselme; two sisters: Irène LeBlanc and Thérèse LeBlanc, both of Rogersville; one adopted brother, Eddie (Claudette) Doiron of Rogersville; six grandchildren: Isabelle, Jean-Pierre, Philippe, Julien, Luc and Cedric; one great granddaughter, Mikaelle as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Juliette in 2008; four sisters: Andréa, Elise, Madelaine and Marie-May and also by one brother, Gerald.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste.-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, June 22nd 2010, at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
