It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Menel McLeod Pauley of Port Elgin. Menel, age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wonderful friends and caretakers at the Westford Nursing Home. Born in Upper Cape, NB, he was a son of the late Murdoch and Alice (Crawford) Pauley. Menel will be dearly missed by his family, all from London, ON; sister-in-law Alice, niece Irene, and nephews Keith, Jim and Bob. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Parker.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB where visiting hours will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2010 from 10 am to 11 am followed immediately at 11 am by the funeral, William Drysdale DLM officiating.
