My loving husband of 42 years has lost his hard fought battle with cancer.
Leonard was the husband of Sylvia; father to Wesley (Tracey) and Emma (Chris) Nosotti; grandfather to Rachel, Rebecca, Tiffany and Dylan; special daddy to Midnight and brother to Doris and Margaret in Ontario.
Left to mourn are brothers-in-law, James, P.E.I., and Baxter (Marie), Goose Bay; sister-in-law, Emma (Vernon) New Brunswick; mother-in-law, Blan ‘Emma’ MacDonald; and very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Reg Murray and their pet, Kelly. Also left to mourn are his special friends, Richard and Berthann and Tom and Shirley.
Cremation has taken place. The Heath family welcomes all to join them at Pier Community Funeral Home in the All Faith Chapel on Tuesday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service to celebrate Leonard’s life at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dana Feltmate officiating. Immediately following, a reception will be held in the Francis room.
At this time the Heath family would like to say thank you to Sharon, Leonard’s home consult nurse from palliative care and to all the palliative care team and VON nurses who made his last wish to stay at home possible.
No flowers please, donations to palliative care, Cape Breton Regional Hospital, in Leonard’s name would be much appreciated.
