At Tobique Valley Manor, Plaster Rock, June 22, 2010, Mrs. Leola Haddad of Plaster Rock passed away at the age of 82. She was the wife of Fred Haddad. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Sophie Roy. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Darlene Haddad of Plaster Rock, grandchildren, Jennifer and Andrea Sawden, Dawn and Andrew Haddad, great grandchild, Hayden, sisters, Bella Doucette (Andrew) of Bathurst and Edmée Martin of Montreal and brother, Robert Roy, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane.
Resting at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Plaster Rock where visiting hours will be held Friday, June 25th from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a funeral service with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
