It is with great sadness the family of the late Ralph Rumbolt of Port au Choix, NL announce his passing on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 98 years. Leaving to mourn his children Mary (Wesley) Snyder, Lagrange, California, Emma (Finton) Gabriel, Stephenville, Semone (Raymond) Rose, Grand Falls, Clara (Claude) Caza, Montreal, Ada (Robert) Moores, New Brunswick, Zita Jackman, Ontario, Alma Bolts, Oregon, California, Edward (Mona), Alfred (Paulette), Wade (Doris) and Lori (Geraldine), all residing in Port au Choix; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; the Gould family and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Victor and Elizabeth, wife Juliette, common-law wife Charlotte, children Clara, Gertrude and Austin. The family received friends at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, June 22 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
