RHODES, Daisy Ferne - 90, Riverside, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on June 11, 2010, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Riverside, where she resided her entire life and devoted all her time to her family, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Fielden) Marsters. She is survived by her daughters, Hazel (James) Chambers, Falmouth; Shirley Watson, Parkville, B.C.; brother, Ted (Lou) Marsters, Stanley; sisters, Edith MacDonald, Windsor; Olive Marsters, (Windsor), however, Olive joined Daisy with her passing the following day. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bruce (Janice) Rhodes, Krista (Gilbert) Rhodes, Danny (Kim) Chambers, Donnie Chambers, David (Janice) Chambers, Dennis (Kim) Chambers, David (Lisa) Watson, Stephen (Louise) Watson, 19 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; special friend, Angie Chambers. Daisy was predeceased by her husband, Henry; son, Frederick and brother, Preston. Visitation was held June 14, from 7-8 p.m. and funeral was held Tuesday, June 15 at 2 p.m. both in J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home, Summerville. Private family burial in Riverside Cemetery, New Cheverie Road. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Riverside Cemetery or charity of choice.
