Claire Herbert Richardson - In his 92nd year, passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital (Ontario) on Thursday, July 8th, 2010. Claire is survived by his adoring wife of 47 years, Irene (McIntosh / Duff), his loving daughters, Janet Richardson and Alison (Stephen) Yuille, his granddaughter Laura, and many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Paul (Barbara). Predeceased by brother Waldo (Izetta) and sister Helen (Robert) McFarland. A veteran of World War II and a dedicated employee of the Ontario Paper Company.
Claire's loved ones will receive family and friends at the Hammond Funeral Home and Chapel, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold, Ontario on Saturday 2 to 4pm and Sunday 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Elm Street United Church (11 Elm St., St. Catharines, Ontario) on Monday, July 12th, 2010 at 11:00am. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St. Catharines. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
