1919 - 2010 - Emilienne Hébert, 91, of Bouctouche, wife of Edgar Hébert, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 11th, 2010. Born in Saint-Norbert on February 12th, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and the late Geneviève (Allain) Richard. Emilienne gave birth and raised eighteen children, later she worked as a volunteer at the Manoir Saint Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche for twenty years. She belonged to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Church in Bouctouche and was a member and former president of the "Renouveau Charismatic" movement in Bouctouche. She will be sadly missed by her husband Edgar, and her sixteen loving children, Annette Thériault (Norman), Monique MacMullin both of Moncton, Claudette Smith (Doug) of Riverview, Emilie Bourgeois (Edmond) of Grande-Digue, Huberte Cornellier (René) of Mont St Hillaire, QC, Lucille Trottier (Yvon) of Côteau du Lac, QC, Louise-Germaine Flanagan (Joe) of Woodstock, ON, Clarence (Janice) of Charlottetown, PE, Paul-Emile (Olive), Euclide (Généva), Edgar (Denise), Georges (Lise), Lorenzo (Nicole) all of Bouctouche, Claude (Marie-Mai) of Shediac, Marc (Cathy) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Maurice (Jocelyn) of Irishtown, forty two grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Jean-Marie (1979) and Gilles; four sisters, Sr Geneviève Emilie, Anna, Alice, Lina, and six brothers, Willie, Edouard, Antoine, Placide, Philias, and Jean-Baptiste.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l'église, Bouctouche, on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday July 14th, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Emilienne's memory donations can be made to the Saint-Jean Baptiste parish fund.
