ARLENE GLADYS WORTH It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Arlene Gladys Worth (nee Bernard) at the age of 71, on July 8, 2010. She was born June 20, 1939 in St. Eleanors, PEI to Gladys and Edwin Bernard. She began working in her mom and dad's General Store at a very young age. She met the love of her life, Roger. They were married on December 26, 1961 in St. Eleanors, PEI. They were blessed with two children, Kent and Susan. In 1974, they moved from Moncton, NB to Prince Albert, SK. Mom worked at various types of jobs throughout her life including working in finance, processing loans, hostess for Welcome Wagon in the Maritimes, managed a retail outlet and worked in the hotel industry in Prince Albert. Mom was a people person and loved to visit. She always seemed to know someone wherever she went and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She was a dedicated and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to many. She cherished the time that she spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Roger; her son Kent (Deanna) Worth; her daughter Susan (Roger) Dusseault; her grandchildren Mikayla Worth, Madison and Ethan Dusseault; her sister-in-law Anne Bernard of Summerside, PEI; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Edwin & Gladys Bernard (Yeo); her brother David Bernard and her sister Sheila Sharpe (Bernard). A special thank you to Dr. Makinde for all of your help and kindness you gave to our mom. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alban's Cathedral, 1410 Bishop MacLean Crescent, Prince Albert, SK with The Reverend Joanne Beacon officiating. Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. Luncheon will be served at the Army and Navy Auditorium, 25 - 11 Street West. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 - 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
