On Tuesday, July 13th, 2010, Ida Harriet Ford (nee Wiggins) passed away in Kamloops at the age of 90 years.

Ida was born August 14th, 1919 in the Cariboo at Williams Lake, B.C., and came to reside in Kamloops in 1945. She married Len on October 18th, 1947 and they were together until her passing.

Ida's love was her family and friends. She cared about everyone she met. Her garden and home were a place where all were welcome. She would always find an extra potato for the pot when company came.

Ida is survived by her husband Leonard, sons Warren and Jim (Melanie), grandsons Lucas and Stuart, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and lots of dear friends.

She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters: Mabel, Thelma, Mary, Nada, Ethel, James, Ina, Wiley and Hilda.

Pastor Don Maione will conduct the Funeral Service in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
