Geoffrey L. Lutes, 50, of Mountain Road, Moncton, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 16, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Carmel (Young) Lutes of Moncton and the late Bonar Lutes. Geoff enjoyed watching sports, movies especially old western movies, playing cards, computer games and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Geoff was an incredible son, brother, uncle and will be deeply and sadly missed by his sister, Christina (Lutes) Marcil, Moncton; brothers, Stephen (Michelle), Falmouth, NS, Tim (Brenda) and Todd (Bonnie), both of Salisbury; nieces and nephews, Sara, Samuel, Justine, Christopher, April, Tasheena, Emily, Sheri, Nicole, Benjamin and Cassidy. In addition to his father Bonar, he was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene and Robert; best friend and brother in law, Pierre-Paul Marcil.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church (Dominion St. and Mountain Rd.), Wednesday July 21, 2010, 11:00am. Rev. Yvon Arsenault officiating.
