1959 - 2010
On the afternoon of July 20, 2010, Sandra Joyce Skabar (nee Webster) was ushered into the next leg of her journey.
Never without a smile, Joyce's beautiful and vibrant spirit inspired the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her over her 51 years.
A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, Joyce was admired for her bravery, iron-will, and unfailing sense of humour.She is survived by devoted husband of 27 years Brian; four children, Lindsay, Thomas, Margaret, Lauren, all of Amherst; step-daughter, Jennifer (Sean) Arnett, Calgary; mother, Betty Webster (Leil) of New Glasgow, NS; and siblings, Dorothy (Bryne Grenkow), Winnipeg, Allister, James (Brenda Walker), and David, all of New Glasgow, NS, many loving Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Allister Webster.
Funeral services and reception will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 2 pm from Trinity St. Stephen's United Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St (902-667-8777). www.furlongjones.ca
