Frances Edith Partridge
Born April 3, 1921, Freetown, P.E.I.
Passed away June 17, 2009, at the age of 88, at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, from complications of Alzheimer's, after residing several years at Thorntonview Long Term Care Facility, Oshawa.
Frances is survived by her children: Alberta (Al) Murphy, Oshawa; Robert (Susan) Grigg, Ohio; Dale (Joan) Shack, Florida; Bernice (Mark) Hardwick, London; Lorne ( Judy) Grigg, Wilkesport; Valerie ( and the late George) Lounsbury, London; John (Colette) Partridge, Toronto.
Frances is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and two great, great, grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, Roy and Blanche Boulter, Augustine Cove, PEI. Husbands John Grigg (1961) and Harvey Partridge (2000), sister Vertis (Dan) McInness, and brother Austin.
Adhering to Frances' wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family wish to announce that the interment service will be held on July 28 at 5 p.m. in the North Bideford United Church Cemetery, Bideford, in her beloved Prince Edward Island. The Rev. Pam Reidpath will be officiating.
