Whidden, Charlotte Lee – 17, of Bible Hill, passed away on the morning of May 23, 2009. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of Barry and Catherine (Rankin) Whidden. Charlotte is survived by her brothers Mark and Thomas; grandmothers Ethel Whidden of Bible Hill and Anne Rankin of Charlottetown, PEI; many aunts, uncles and cousins from both Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. She was predeceased by her grandfathers Bud Whidden and Ian Rankin. Charlotte was a Grade 11 student at the Cobequid Educational Centre. She was a wonderful friend to all she knew, and always greeted life and friends with a smile, which she will be remembered for. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th from 7-9 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro; with a memorial service on Wednesday, May 27th at 1pm, in First United Church, 711 Prince Street, Truro, Rev.
