At Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB, July 26, 2010 Chester Godfrey Whittier, formerly of Elm Street, St Stephen, NB. Born in Rollingdam, NB, January 22, 1916. Son of the late George and Annie (Noddin) Whittier. Survived by his wife of 72 years, Doris Irene (McCrum) Whittier, daughter Joyce (Jerome) Connick of Pomeroy Ridge, NB, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Janice, two half brothers Joe and Marvin Noddin. Chester was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
There will be a graveside service at the Rollingdam United Church, Rollingdam, NB July 28, 2010 at 2 PM. No visitation by request.
