Linwood 'Lindy' Joseph Killam, born on May 2, 1925, in Sydney, N.S., passed away July 28, 2010, at his home in Glendora, Calif., surrounded by his loving family.
Lindy is survived by his wifem Ruth (MacGregor) of 66 years; son, Linwood and wife Jane and children Kyle (Amy) Killam, Stephanie (Mike) Hoffmann, Nicole Hickman and son, Robbie, Jennifer (Tye) Gonzalez and children Kayla and Alex, Kevin Hickman; daughters, Brenda Horne, Debbie and husband Stan Snider and children Scott (Amy) Snider, Jennifer (Eric) Osborne and great-grandson Shane Snider; sisters, Enid Hicks and Faith Loughery of Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lindy was predeceased by parents, Minnie and Benjamin Killam, stepmother, Margaret Killam, sisters, Lucy Morrison, Irene MacSween, brothers, Paul Killam, Bruce Killam, and twin brothers who died in infancy.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. at Glendora Friends Church, Glendora, where Lindy has been a longstanding member.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glendora Friends Church, Children's Ministries.
