It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Jane Jenkins of Englee NL. announce her passing on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the John M. Gray Centre in St. Anthony at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children James (Joy) Jenkins, Little Rapids, Alfred (Georgina) Jenkins, Englee, Neata (Don) Richards, Kitchener, Ontario, Diana (Raymond) Wilcox, Brampton, Ontario, Nicholas (Linda) Jenkins, Englee, Melissa (Dale) Richards, St. Carols, Cecilia (Charlie) Mugford, St. Anthony and Dennis (Lois) Jenkins, Brampton, Ontario; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pleaman Jenkins; parents Herbert and Delphina Hancock; children Mildred and Jeanie Jenkins. Visitation took place at the Salvation Army Church in Englee on Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. with Majors Henry and Beatrice Bingle officiating. Interment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Roddickton. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
