The passing of Rita Leger-Adair occurred peacefully in Pt. Orange, FL on November 10th 2009.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leo and the late Jean Leger.
Rita was a graduate of Moncton High School and worked for many years at Atlantic Blue Cross. Her interests included the theatre group "Stage Door 56", of which she was a very active member. Her career brought her to Ottawa with the Canadian Diplomatic Service, her posting led her to the Canadian Embassy in Washington, where she met her late husband, Jim Adair. Rita retired in Pt. Orange FL, where she had worked for the Chamber of Commerce as well as the coalitions of homeowners.
On her father's side, she is survived by her cousins, Deborah Firth of Shediac, Joy Leger and Cecelia Robinson, both of Moncton.
Graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday, August 10th 2010 at 3:30 pm.
Friends and family are welcomed to attend.
