Peacefully at her daughter's residence in Cornwall, P.E.I., on Thursday, August 5, 2010, of Mrs. Maria Dalpiaz (nee Zanoni), age 89 years.
Beloved wife of the late Rodolfo Dalpiaz who predeceased her on May 28, 1993.
She was born and raised in Italy, moved to Montreal after the Second World War where she lived for most of her life. She moved to Cornwall, P.E.I., to live with her daughter in 2008.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lolita Dalpiaz and her husband James Monthony of Cornwall, P.E.I., and Sonia Dalpiaz and her husband Peter Stec of Markham, Ont. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Adrian and Eliana Monthony of Cornwall and Andria and Laura Dalpiaz Stec of Markham, Ont.
She is the last surviving member of her family.
She will be transferred from the Hennessey Funeral Home to Montreal, P.Q., for funeral mass and burial.
There will be a memorial mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall. The date and time will be announced later.
If so desired, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
