Passed away suddenly at his residence, on May 25, 2009, John Bennett, age 68 years. Predeceased by father Dr. Ray Bennett. Leaving to mourn his wife June; his mother Peg; daughter Natasha Smith (Kevin); son Raymond; step-daughter Karen Templeman (Dean Collett); step-son Garth Templeman (France Guillemette); grandchildren Connor and Lilly Smith, Emma and Ethan Collett, Daniel Templeman; brother Garth Bennett (Margaret-Ann); sister Diane Currie (Jack); as well as a number of nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from Church of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive, Mount Pearl. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
