Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009, of Orville R. Turner of Charlottetown and formerly of South Winsloe, age 83 years. Father of Lana and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Michelle Sellick MacDougall (Chris) and Nicole Sellick Morrison (John), and also by his great-grandchildren, Dylan MacDougall, Ethan MacDougall and Taylor Morrison. Brother of Verna MacLauchlan; brother-in-law of Norris Kitson (Eleanor), Verna Phillips, Fulton Kitson (Shirley), Fred Kitson (Claudia), Audrey MacKenzie (Jack). Predeceased by his wife, Lona (nee Kitson); and by his brothers, Borden, Ivan (Kathleen) and Frederick (Jean) Turner; and by his brothers-in-law, Gideon MacLauchlan and Thomas Phillips. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in South Winsloe Cemetery. Visitation Saturday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home or South Winsloe Cemetery.
